James Cooper founded Cooper Pest Control in 1993. After operating the company for ten
years it had grown to a quarter of a million dollar company.
  • The First Acquisition
In the winter of 2004, Len Land, Branch Manager of Arrow Exterminators left his previous
employer and approached Mr. Cooper with an offer to purchase his company. Soon after
acquiring Cooper Pest Control, Len changed the name to Coppermines Pest Control and
implemented policies that have caused the company to triple in less than 3 years.
Coppermines Pest Control is a thriving, family owned operation with 10 full time
employees and a record breaking growth of 45%.
  • The Second Acquisition
In the Summer of 2007, Coppermines Pest Control acquired Amicalola Pest Control of
Dawsonville, Ga.
Phillip Goodson owner/operator of Amicalola Pest Control died after a sudden illness. Phil
and Wanda Goodson, parents of the deceased sold their son's company assets to
Coppermines Pest Control.
  • The Third Acquisition
In the fall of 2009, Coppermines Pest Control acquired the southern half of Your Town
Services from Brian Sharp.
  • The Fourth Acquisition:
Coppermines Pest Control is excited to announce its 4th acquisition. On October the 5th
2010, Coppermines Pest Control purchased North Georgia Wildlife Pest Control. The
addition of this company will bring our company into the Wildlife arena and should
generate the company an additional $50,000.00 in revenue.
