James Cooper founded Cooper Pest Control in
1993. After operating the company for ten years it
had grown to a quarter of a million dollar company.
  • The First Acquisition
In the winter of 2004, Len Land, Branch Manager of
Arrow Exterminators left his previous employer and
approached Mr. Cooper with an offer to purchase
his company. Soon after acquiring Cooper Pest
Control, Len changed the name to Coppermines
Pest Control and implemented policies that have
caused the company to triple in less than 3 years.
Coppermines Pest Control is a thriving, family
owned operation with 10 full time employees and a
record breaking growth of 45%.
  • The Second Acquisition
In the Summer of 2007, Coppermines Pest Control
acquired Amicalola Pest Control of Dawsonville, Ga.
Phillip Goodson owner/operator of Amicalola Pest
Control died after a sudden illness. Phil and Wanda
Goodson, parents of the deceased sold their son's
company assets to Coppermines Pest Control.
